The only downside to using hammers is how much slower the moveset is compared to "meta" weapons. but that just meAgree with pretty much everything you said (especially seek guidance). Let me make a few suggestions on how I personally feel it should be altered.Personally, I'd move Lothric's Holy Sword to at least upper high tier if not top tier. Anything below that or within those respective weapon classes are purely personal preference (except pkcs lkss) as the rest of the weapons (all weapons below) lack the same R1 mashing potential with high speed, tracking and reach with minimal effort. every one of those top tier weapons could either be countered by another weapon, or by adjusting your playstyle accordingly. it's worse than the gc and ledo'sBlack Knight GA: up 1/2 tier, it's as good or bad as the dragonslayer gaGotthard Twin Swords: up 1/2 tier, longer range than the long sword and the lks but less damage, evens out in the endValorheart: up 1/2 tier, it's still a straight swordGreat Corvian Scythe: up 1/2 tier, outspaces everything, very useful against turtlesCaestus: up 1 tier, better than the parrying dagger because of perseveranceCrossbows: all up 1/2 tier, Is anyone still playing without one?Seething Chaos: down 1/2 tier, Has anybody gotten hit by that in a serious duel?Chaos Bed Vestiges: up 1/2 tier, good for punishing when timed correctlySeek Guidance: up to top tier, wouldn't enter the arena without itFarron Flashsword: up to high tier, can catch opponents off guard fairly easilycorvian scythe for me is tier 5 weapon. Boss Soul Weapons in Dark Souls 3 are obtained by Soul Transposition. You may also obtain spells and rings from them. Great stagger/stunlock potential, and more range than most axes.I've never tried the chaos blade. There's literally almost no build that can't make room for a Light Crossbow without sacrificing stat points and/or important gear.

Pure guess work and sofa opinions. The only sure thing about any weapon Tier list is that straight swords and curved swords is at the top. Same goes for Wolf Knight Greatsword, I have no idea why that weapon is so up high. Hey, want to give my opinion on the weapon tier list. Although poise casting Lightning Arrow miracle users that hold it for hours and wait for you to get close are purebred cancer. For sorceries, I'd switch out Farron Hail with Old Moonlight. Now here’s my list of the best weapons you’ll want to “git gud” playing Dark Souls 3. Players may equip up to 3 in the slots for each hand. Not only has it shown developers how difficulty can be used to set a specific tone, but the Souls series has created its own genre in wake of its excellent world design and punishing yet rewarding gameplay. I literally can't wrap my head around that. The more I look at the list the more I get the impression that either personal preference has been a huge factor while compiling it or whoever did this isn't the most experienced pvp player. :)Crescent Axe in shit tier? Do you guys agree? To transpose a soul, defeat the respective boss, then take the soul to Ludleth of Courland. So here follows a list of every melee weapon in the game, categorized into I understand this is going to be very contentious, but anyone can feel free to let me know if you feel that I'm way off the mark with a categorization. The only drawback to this weapon is the stat investment requirement to make it viable, but its spear moveset paired with its 2h halberd moveset (while still maintaining the spear running poke) and its ability to self buff, honestly this weapon would potentially even be top-tier if paired with an off-hand straight sword. For katanas, I would put Washing Pole back in top tier. Being essentially a smaller but faster claymore, it can quickly outdamage a claymore with a 40/40 quality build without being left open if you whiff. Discussion. And don't forget: this is with PvP in mind. I'd put SB in top of high tier. Glaive is literally just a worse Black Knight Halberd. For hammers, I would honestly argue for Heysel Pick to be moved to bottom top tier. It obviously does not have to be all-encompassing, but I am trying to understand his reasoning when it comes to both PvP and PvE weapon balance. Also, what do you all think about the issue personally? that said, certain builds will fare better against some than others and its not like an entire build can be changed by quickswapping a weapon. A weapon like the Longsword is fantastic because it requires 10/10 (which literally any self-respecting build has), has fantastic scaling on everything, a straight sword moveset with a thrust R2, and a very respectable range - it's a weapon with almost no stat investment whatsoever that can add a lot to ANY build; hence top tier. What would you change and why?I agree with your suggestions. Gael's has the longest range, and deadly damage which can potentially kill someone in two combos. And yes, we can agree that the tier list is a joke in regards to greatswords.
