I think the problem is just that...enemy attacks come out so fast and their tells are so short and hard to divine that it's almost impossible to time things properly. Final Fantasy XV has one of my favorite combat systems in the series and I'm definitely enjoying this Remake's combat. GameFAQs. Imagine how stupid this game would be if it were simply hack and slash? Wait, what abilities are these? You constantly try to undermine the importance of that first chapter, but exactly one third of the game's script happens there.
