Carlos came from a musical family through his mother: Carlos’ older brother Domingo taught at the Williams music conservatory in Bahía Blanca; Nicolas, another older brother, became a famous baritone singer, and Carlos’ younger brother, Roque, was a pianist. Carlos Di Sarli was the final piece of the puzzle of tango in the 40s, that made neither concessions to strident fashions, nor to rhythmic extravagances and who, however represented with extreme delicacy, the interpretative paradigm of danceable tango.
