There are a total of 37 Hordes in Days Gone that you have to find and eliminate. The past 4 days straight, I've done almost nothing else other than play the game.

I got I think 87% at the train horde.

I went into the mine to get the nero injector and when I was coming out of the mine, the horde music started again and there were 10-15 more freakers that just randomly spawned outside, many around my bike parked much further away in case I had to run. When you eliminate these hordes, they are completely wiped out from the game & will not respawn.
