Not that some earlier ones weren't, they were good for their era but it seems that now 'we' want a gritty hero, not a romantic vision of a spy.
There's even a handy little booklet inside, very lavishly printed and containing some interesting factual snippets. Add some perfectly choreographed fight scenes, a record breaking car roll-over scene, and the mental game between he and Mads Mikkelsen over the tables, and there is simply nothing not to love about this film. Brilliant film this is, Daniel Craig is brilliant as James Bond one of the best Bonds ever, next to Roger Moore, I also thought that Mads Mikkelsen was brilliant as Le Cheffe.

I also enjoyed the audio commentary by director Martin Campbell and producer Michael G. Wilson, who gave some nice insights into the movie, such as why it took so long to properly adapt Ian Fleming's first James Bond novel to the screen (legal issues).
